Pierre Cardin Celebrates 60 years of Design

While in Paris recently, San Francisco Luxury Living contributor Karen Tamblyn and friend Joel Goodrich attended a private event at Maxim’s where they got to meet legendary designer Pierre Cardin.
The iconic Italian-born fashion designer, Sir Pierre Cardin (who owns Maxim’s) celebrated 60 years of extraordinary innovation and iconoclastic contribution to the world of fashion, interior design and perfume with the publication of a new book “Pierre Cardin, 60 ans de creation.”

“I grew up admiring his view of the world of fashion, his brand, his designs,” Karen says. “As a Peruvian, I didn’t get too much of the fashion world, but Pierre Cardin was an icon and a legend in Peru!”
