Ochi Tirta Speaks to Guests at his Showroom Opening

Ochi and Company, which has been a proud part of the design community in Northern California for 12 years, recently unveiled the new look of its showroom at the San Francisco Design Pavilion, designed by SophiSticate Interiors.

Guests enjoying wine from R&B Cellars and delicious treats from La Boulange while mingling among the new showroom offerings included esteemed hair stylist Melissa Wagner of Secret Agent Salon, Julien Bouvet of Bouvet Hardware, Olivier Jerphagnon, Adorean Boleancu of Wells Fargo, chef Alain Bourgade, Christopher Beaucage (in a gorgeous Givenchy jacket), Ari Kalfayan, Matthew Kimball, Philip Reno of G&R Paints, artist Magdalene Chan, interior designer Matthew Turner, Mireille Schwartz, luxury real estate agent Joel Goodrich, Fati Farmanfarmaian, Beth Schnitzer, Raghu Shivaram of SpritzSF, fashion designer Bbabtunde Olaldoja, Concierge Solutions owner Maria Barrios Ehmer, event producer Charleston Pierce, author John Newmeyer, interior designer Catherine Hall and Paul Keenan, among others.

The Ochi & Company showroom carries fine iron beds, dining sets, French settees, sofas, ottomans, elegant French Country upholstery, and exquisite home accessories. All the furniture and accessories are made in the USA, Canada, Italy and Belgium. It also exclusively represents Redford House, Hallman Furniture, Wesley Allen, Attila, Area Rug World, Artisan House, Essentials, Dragonfly and Stylus.

Designer Sophie Azouaou of SophiSticate Interiors designed special furnishings which were launched at the opening, with fabric from Fabricut, in a lush luxurious style informed by Sophie’s French heritage.  ”We were honored to be selected for this project, it was a very inspiring and rewarding experience,” she said.  ”From the moment we started we connected with the space.”

Special items raffled at the event include a superb magnum of R&B Cellars, an exquisite statue from the artist Attila Tivadar, two paint kits from G&R Paints, a gift certificate from Secret Agent Salon, and a silver bud vase from SophiSticate Interiors with a gift certificate for escorted shopping at the SFDC.
